Shaye's Sayings

I have apple notes full of little sayings Shaye has because I want to remember how serious, or loving, or outright crazy at times she can be. This one from yesterday cracked me up so I've decided to share.. Usually the kiddo rides the bus to her babysitter's after school but on Tuesday's I have to pick her up to take her to Girl Scouts and this was part of her conversation in the truck while waiting for the meeting to start.

Shaye looking in the mirror: "OH EM GEE MOM!! (she seriously said that, I'm not sure whose kid she is) I am turning so WHITE! Seriously, I'm never staying out in the sun and tanning again!"

me:"Why not? I thought you liked it when you tanned?"
Shaye:"OH NO! I'm so white and natural and, seriously, I'm starting to look like a vampire!! that is so awesome!

OH that's right, she is her mother's child lol.. of course it had something to do w/ a vampire :P
