Another new job!

Well sorry to keep everyone out of the loop, but Mac got a new job today. I've been talking about how Mac was gonna go to B.O.P. but they ended up not scheduling him for it. Reason behind that was..? They went behind Mac's back w/o telling him and hired someone else for the drilling job. They weren't even going to let him know either. He was just supposed to show up and find out that they (excuse my language) screwed him out of the same job for the second time w/o getting mad?? Nope.. so naturally, if you know Mac, he lost it. He got mad and walked off of location.
Well its been a week now and he got a job. And I'm soo happy to say, its not a roughneck position! He's at Well Testing in Monahans.. he said they were going to put him into the shop but found out that he really likes and knows computers and put him as "aluminium/tubing inspection". Not sure what that means but, HEY sounds cool lol.. He's not going to get paid as much for the first 3 months but will get a raise after the 90 days is up. Also what we are really hoping for is he might get his own worktruck.. yayee.. we don't have to pay gas! lol.. neways, enuff about Mac lol.. onto the most important news.. the girls..
Dani has been with us for almost a week now and really helping out. I knew that I was going to need some help around the house cleaning and helping me cook and everything, but I wasn't expecting this much help lol.. She's really good at keeping Shaye entertained and doing her chores.. The thing she's most excited about is she gets $10 a week for chores.. I think thats the most she's ever gotten.. but it's also because she's doing chores (quite a few of them) while I'm at work. like laundry, dishes, and cleaning, etc... We're taking her back on Sunday for her cousin's birthday party and then she's going to church camp on Monday for a week.. I think we are gonna get to keep her as much as we want this summer which will be good cuz I think she likes the freedom.. there aren't any other kids here during the day and she can watch what she wants and play when and where she wants...
Well on to the other kid.. Shaye's good.. I dont think she likes the idea of me going to work for 9 hours a day.. she's not getting to see me as much anymore and thats weird because she's a huge mama's girl.. We're currently looking for a day care in Odessa so we can have that 35 min. ride back and forth together.. and plus we don't think Dani's quite old enuff to watch Shaye all day. In 2 days this little girl will be 2 years old! Can you believe it?? I really can't.. Time really reawlly flies when you're having fun! We're having her party on Saturday but I'm not sure of who is all comnig.. i wasn't able to get invites out this year and I've just sort of spread the word by mouth. oh welll :) well, I'm gonna go to bed.. I'll post again later on this week or maybe 2 you never know! lol

A Job!

Just wanted to post and tell everyone that I got a job today!! I can't believe it either! Its only been a week since I got out of school and I start a new job tomorrow!
I'm working at Cougar Cleaning Equipment in Odessa doing bookkeeping. It's going to be cool. The company is like a little family since there isn't a lot of people working there and they have good incentives at doing good work, like for instance trips to Ruidoso and Las Vegas... isn't that awesome!?!? well, I just wanted to check in and tell everyone my wonderful news! I start work tomorrow so I have to hurry and get something washed lol.

Hey everyone, I know its been forever since posting.. We've been busy taking TONS of pictures! lol..These pictures are posted from newest to oldest.. Thats just the way they came in so that's how I'm doing 'em! lol.. So off we go...

Today Kendall came and stayed with us again while Cat had to work. We had tons of fun.. had a bath together, got to go swimming and learned ALOT about sharing lol.. here are those pics:

Next, is the newest addition to my mom's family.. I like to call him Gadget but Mom and Jeff aren't so sure..

All I have to say is POOR DOG! Shaye had him in a headlock and would NOT let him go!

Hello :)

Hello all! I know, that this is all of a sudden but I just want to say,



to Mickey. :) ok.. on to business... Things are pretty good down here in Tx... Tomorrow is WalkAmerica, I was really hoping that Dani could be there, but today, she called and said she has a recital tomorrow and we wouldn't have enough time for her to walk the 4 miles and then still go get ready :( oh well, atleast Mac and Shaye will be with me this year.. last year I was all by my lonesome.. :P I'm glad that Mac will be there tomorrow also since we haven't got a recital video of Dani in forever.. its supposed to be a pretty long one so I'm lookin' forward to it!

Hmm.. what else? There is only 2 more weeks of school for me, and only 3 more for Dani.. I'm really looking forward to this summer.. Hopefully I will get a job right away but trust me, I'm not going to complain if I get a few weeks of vacation :)

We are already planning Shaye's party.. its not going to be anything big, just a small party here at the house.. I'm just glad now there might be some kids at this one.. Last year, we didn't know anyone around Shaye's age but this year we have Kendall.. yeah! loll I can't believe that Kendall will be 1.. our little 4th of July baby.. hmm.. anything else..

Well, my sister graduates Texas Tech next weekend.. I'm so proud of her.. actually making it through those long 4 years.. changing her majors.. how many times?? lol She graduates now, then has some classes next semester (can't remember why lol) Then gets to go onto student teaching and finally to teacher.. She's gonna do great :) Mac finally found out about b.o.p classes and its not going to be as bad as he thought.. they were originally set to be like 5 hours away but he has that and his safety meeting in Odessa which is really good...

Well, I can't think of anything else.. lol but trust me I will post when I do.. oh be looking for pictures from the walk and also from Dani's recital tomorrow... well, ttyl!
