Hey everyone! Sorry its been forever since I've updated this thing! lol..
well, we just got back from Cloudcroft. We spent a week there for spring break,
and I am elated to be home!! I was ready to come home on Monday after
getting there on Saturday because the second I walked into that cabin, BAM!
sinus infection... Not fun... On top of the sinus infection, Shaye had a small
cold and Dani was coughing off and on. Mac was the only one who wasn't sick.. he
sucks lol.. Other than that I think we had an ok time.. We got to get away from
Kermit without spending a whole lot of money.. We went and visited the New Mexico Museum of Space
History in Alamogordo. It was pretty cool.. Shaye didn't like it that much
but that figures lol.. Also we got to go to the Valley of Fires lava flow.. it was ok.. just a little boring
lol.. well, I'm gonna get to bed.. I'm taking the pictures tomorrow to get
developed so hopefully they'll be on our family website soon.. well,
ttyl!!

Hello everyone!
We had Dani last weekend. While she was here, she went to Sims Skateland with some friends and bruised her entire backside. She said they had a skateboard and ramp there and she tried to do it, and busted her butt.. lol.. Her school counselor sent a note home with her saying that she had been nominated to participate in Duke University's TIPs (Talent Identification Program) since she has high grades. I'm not sure on all what it is, but to check it out, go here: tip.duke.edu
Shaye is good. She's saying a lot more words, and is running around getting into everything. I swear, everytime I get finished picking up all her toys, books, blankets, etc. from the living room, not even 5 minutes later, almost all of it is back. I think she thinks thats where it belongs or something. aah! lol... She is now in a 'big girl' bed.. And is doing great. She was sleeping on the pull out bed from the day bed for quite a while, but Mac decided one night that she needed to be upgraded to the actual day bed.. that first night was bad.. From 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. I think the total hours of sleep that she got was maybe 1.. I got about 2.5 and mac got about 3.. but that was only because he went to sleep at 5:30 when I got up.. I'm glad that there isn't going to be a big transition like that until potty training and we are still far away from that.. They are tiring!
Mac and I are good. I have 10 weeks of school left, 11 counting spring break... I can't wait.. :) Mac is getting tired of the 14on/14off hours.. he's thinking of finding 7on/7off but not sure if he's going to go ahead with it. I really wish he would stick with it until he starts school, but if he's unhappy, he needs to leave.. I don't want him having a breakdown just because of work..
This summer, Mac was wanting to go to San Antonio for vacation, but I've talked him out of it.. lol.. instead we are going to San Antonio in 2 weeks for Spring Break and hopefully we will be going back to Wyoming for vacation this summer. We're trying to find 2 weeks where we will be able to without cutting into Mandi's month w/ Dani this summer and Dani going back to school.. hopefully we can find something..
Well, I've been jabbering long enough. I promise to post again soon.
