Kids and the things they say

The kids were eating out with my parents when a little boy comes in the restaurant while not wearing any shoes. Drama Queen could not get over the fact that his parents would let him in there without shoes because in our family it is unheard of. After pointing it out a few times, my mom told her to be quiet and keep eating. Drama Queen listened to her but after a few minutes asked, “Grams, why do they call it barefoot?” And my mom answers, “thats just what people say when people don’t wear anything on their feet”. Drama Queen nods her head and goes back to her food for a few minutes then pipes up again. “Well, you know they could call it ‘dogfoot’ too because dogs are like bears and don’t wear shoes either.”


I burst out laughing when mom told me this. My little cutie says the funniest things sometimes.
